RED CURRANT TARTELETTE

It was raining… but no- it stopped.. “Let’s go!” Bastien and I hopped in the car and headed towards a small farm to pick berries. The sun came out, and the sky was blue and clear as we filled little boxes with strawberries, raspberries, cherries, and last but not least… red currants! These tangy little berries are perfect on a sweet pastry cream with a buttery crust. I hope make them again this spring!
